The Nirvana is a new entry level single malt whisky which represents great value for money to tempt those new to the brand as well as cocktail makers and those watching their wallet. Nirvana is distilled from six-row barley grown in the north part of the country in the Himalayas and matured in Goa. Nirvana uses only un-peated malt and is matured exclusively in ex-Bourbon barrels and bottled at 40% ABV.
Nose: An attractive honeycombed bourbon and butterscotch with luscious fruitcake and enticing caramel pudding.
Taste: A delightful soft honey and salted caramel followed by an excellent mouthfeel with honeycomb sweetness.
Finish: Long, and richly flavoured with dissolving honey, barley, succulent vanilla and gentle tannin.
Balance: A fun mix of barley, vanilla, milk chocolate and oak plays together nicely to tempt you into another sip. A dash of true Goan pleasure!
