Knockdhu renamed their whiskies anCnoc to avoid confusion with the nearby Knockando distillery. In 2002, the folks at Knockdhu set aside this whisky to mature. In 2017, they cracked open the specially selected Spanish and American oak casks to assemble this release. It offers notes of Christmas cake, toffee, honey and orange zest, with a long and warming finish.
Colour: Gentle amber with a slight yellow hue.
Nose: Soft, very aromatic with a hint of honey and lemon in the foreground
Palate: Sweet to start with an appetising fruitiness and a long smooth finish. Light yet complex, smooth yet challenging. This is a dram that has something for everyone.
