Heartwood is run by local alchemist Tim Duckett (aka Mr H). Heartwood has won countless awards on some of the most prestigious whisky stages over the past decade (and his other brand TIB is now following suit).

The Beagle 3 has evolved from 9 Lark and Tasmanian Distillery casks (Bourbon/Port/Sherry/Peated/Pinot), bottled by Heartwood in May 2015 at 68.4% with a total of 220 bottles.
