Award winning aged Tequila
Herradura Añejo is an ultra smooth sipping tequila worthy of the status of Scotland's fine Single Malt Whiskies. The tequila is aged for over 2 years in American oak barrels giving the spirit its trademark deep amber colour & flavours of vanilla, oak and dried fruits. As their richest expression, Herradura Añejo is an award-winning tequila crafted from the finest hand-selected blue agave. Double-distilled, aged for 12 months in American oak, and 100% estate-bottled, Añejo is a rich, dark amber tequila with smooth, buttery notes of caramel and walnut and a sweet, creamy finish. A true sipper, neat or over ice. To be deemed an añejo, a tequila must be aged for at least 12 months. Tequila Herradura Añejo is aged for 25. Resting inside American white oak barrels brings out a deliciously dark amber colour that perfectly complements notes of dried fruit, cooked agave and toasted oak.
