The spirit used for this single malt features a small portion of Orkney-grown Tartan barley, and was matured predominantly in American oak sherry seasoned casks. A little smokier than most Highland Park whiskies, so if you like a mildly peaty dram, this will be thoroughly enjoyed.
Nose: Gentle peat smoke, toasted vanilla bean, honey and sandalwood.
Palate: Roasted barley and fennel seed, with a note of cinnamon underneath.
Finish:Flamed orange peel, gingerbread and nutmeg.
