The 3rd incarnation of this special Winter Feast dram, this time a Barrel Aged Maple Stout Cask
One of the most eagerly anticipated whisky releases of the year, continuing with their maple theme from 2019, Hobart Whisky has released a Barrel Aged Maple Stout cask finish. This whisky has been finished in their 2020 bourbon maple cask, which was used to mature a maple stout, which will be served alongside the single malt, at this year’s Winter Feast, for those who can attend.
There’s no denying it, this year’s Winter Feast release is rich and sweet. Matured for over four years in 40 litre and 80 litre American Oak ex-bourbon and ex-rum casks before being finished in a cask Hobart used to barrel age a Maple Stout also for the 2021 Winter Feast.
*limited release of only 200 bottles
