A Ripping Cask Strength Limited Release of Machir Bay from Islay's Kilchoman Distillery
This edition is made using the same vatting recipe as their regular Machir Bay bottling however rather than reducing the strength to 46% abv they have released a limited number of bottles at cask strength; 58.3% abv. The higher abv allows for the quality and intensity of the Kilchoman spirit to shine.
Machir Bay is matured in 80% Bourbon casks and 20% Sherry casks, this is the cask strength high-octane release of their signature peated malt. Peated to 50PPM and non chill filtered.
