This big brooding whisky was matured in a combination of casks including x Bourbon, first fill Sherry butts and quarter casks, ‘Lore’ is a marriage of Laphroaig of many ages, some as old as 1993. 'Lore' was made by Distillery Manager John Campbell, who comments, "It’s a massive whisky, as bold as it is deep, and one that I sincerely hope does justice to the many generations of Laphroaig distillery managers."
