Lark Muscat Cask Finish 2020 was awarded Gold (96 Points) at the 2020 International Wine & Spirits Competition, their highest achievement at the IWSC to date.
In spring of 2019, Lark's head distiller travelled to South Australia and uncovered a treasure trove of fortified wine casks in the Barossa Valley.
Amongst the old oak port and sherry casks, he came across a very small parcel of ex-muscat casks. One cask was hand chosen as the perfect finishing cask for this extraordinary whisky: a syrupy single malt crafted at our Coal Valley Distillery, with notes of toffee-coated apples, clove-studded oranges and a hint of our signature Tasmanian peat.
