Established in 1994, Murray McDavid has quickly become a leading Scotch whisky bottler. One of the first to start using a wide variety of casks in the Art of Maturation to produce Inspired Scotch Whisky
Dailuaine was the first whisky distillery to proudly adorn a ‘pagoda’ designed by the renowned distillery architect, Charles Doig in 1889. With a quick distillation, Dailuaine creates a versatile single malt that matures well in a wide variety of casks. We have selected this spirit for a rare finish in French oak barriques, previously filled with Sauternes, a sweet dessert wine from Bordeaux. Drawing influence from the seductively fruity and floral dessert wine cask for 14 months, the bountiful spirit of Dailuaine continues to shine bright. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy such a beautifully balanced example of this fine Speyside single malt.
