The origin of this whisky is one of the best kept secrets in the whisky industry. Speculated to originate from Caol Ila, Lagavulin or possibly another distillery, this is unmistakably Islay. Once you've waded through the wonderful, viscous cloud of peat, you're left with a bowl of red berries dusted with icing sugar, finishing with sublime and lingering cask influence. A wonderfully balanced monster of a whisky.
