Roberto Amillo is one the world's most passionate Sherry enthusiasts. He started the Espíritus de Jerez company in 2011 sourcing exceptionally old soleras from various Bodegas and bottling them under the Colección Robert Amillo label.
The Amontillado is the lightest wine in the Colección Roberto Amillo, a boutique range of four sherries and two brandies that try to capture the true spirit of Jerez.
Visual : Deep dark amber colour.
Aroma : Intense, complex and elegant. Dried fruits, toasted aromas, herbal.
Tasting Notes : Dried fruit and peel of apricot and oranges mixed with some toffee and nut, typically present in fortified wines. A rich and unctuous mouthfeel, full of dried fruits, mushrooms, herbs and forest floor notes to finish.
