A GlenAllachie Cask Strength Gem from Master Blender Billy Walker

Batch 6 has been matured for 10 years in a combination of PX and Oloroso sherry puncheons, virgin oak and Rioja casks. The result is a great whisky with hints of dark chocolate, treacle, mocha, heather honey and almonds, fused with cinnamon, marmalade and grapefruit.

Colour: Rich Mahogany

Nose: Waves of heather honey, dried fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg, followed by orange peel, mocha and treacle

Palate: Lashings of dark chocolate, figs and heather honey, with raisins, cinnamon, plums and hints of orange zest
